My Story

Carmela Schiano is the Founder and President of Live Free Coaching, LLC. She is certified as a Professional Life and Business Coach by the Institute for Professional Excellence in Coaching (iPEC).

She is also a leader for the Staten Island North Powerful You! Women’s Networking Group. Carmela is certified as an Energy Leadership Index-Master Practitioner. 

Energy Leadership™  is the process that develops a personally effective style of leadership that positively influences and changes not only yourself, but also those with whom you work and interact, as well as your organization as a whole.   

Carmela co-authored the book, “Empowering Transformations for Women: True Stories of Purpose and Faith in Action to Guide you Through Your Ever-unfolding Personal and Professional Life". She appeared as the writing coach for the number one VH1 reality show. 

Carmela has been inducted as a VIP member into the National Association of Professional Women for excellence, leadership and commitment to her profession, while encouraging the achievement of Professional Women. She also spent over 20 years as an educational marketing consultant creating and conducting educational workshops throughout the United States, winning various top sales awards. As the Northeast Regional Sales Manager of The Lyons Group, Inc., she was involved in the development of the early learning concepts of “Barney the Dinosaur” as well as the promotion and sales of products.
